If you know…

Wednesday wisdom! 🙂

“It’s not knowing what to do, it’s doing what you know.” Tony Robbins

Just some food for thought for you today! You might know lots of things about lots of things… but how many do you act on?

For example, we know plastic pollution is bad,but how many of us are actually doing anything about it? Think about it! What can you do?

For example, we know we should get a good nights sleep to restore our bodies to good health but how many of us get a good amount on a regular basis? Think about it! What can you do?

For example, we know that eating more vegetables and fruits is good for our health, but how many of us eat the recommended daily amount or more? Think about it! What can you do?

I’m certain there are LOADS of things you know about, want to do, put it on a list to do, plan to do… but how many have you done? Think about it! What can you do? NOW! Think about it now! Action it now! Write below what you plan to do… I’m only asking for you to think of one thing! Write it in the comments below – I’ll start it off…

I know I should stop buying juice in plastic bottles, so I will make a conscious effort to only buy juice in glass, or make our own! 🙂

Excellent. We have loads now and keep spare bags in the car and I have a tiny fold up one in my handbag. Plastic bags for loose fruit & veg are what I’m now trying to avoid- I always look for the paper mushroom bags and use those instead! I have just used my new net drawstring bags for the first time in a supermarket and they worked great!

Happy new year, Laurena?Just seen your comment about reusable drawstring bags from the supermarket: I’ve bought around half a dozen too, so there’s no excuse buying the plastic ones now. I do make sure I have spare bags wherever I go… If I slip up, the supermarkets here have paper bags which doesn’t make me feel too guilty lol. As for eating the recommended amount of fruit and veg a day, I’ve decided not to put so much pressure on myself and do the best I can ?
I had confused Tony Robbins with Tony Robinson at first, lol

Happy New Year to you too Eva! 🙂 We so need more paper bags over here! I was in a very well known store and they were using paper bags for home delivery customers… you should have seen their faces when I asked for one for my loose veg!!! 😛 Anything else you might be doing? I’m going to set the first challenge soon… ! 😀 x

It’s odd how it varies from country to country, even within the EU: a well- known German supermarket chain in Spain only provides large plastic bags (without the small holes we’re used to in the UK to prevent kids suffocating themselves!). I digress as usual… To answer your question, I could take less time in the shower and make sure I put all food scraps and peelings in the compost bin (without ‘cheating’ lol) x

No air holes oh my! Less time in the shower – we have a smart meter and when I saw the electric runs it at £1.10 an hour – well, definitely less time… and all the saved water too! 🙂 Yes to composting – I think “wrong bin” has been the most spoken words of late! I think they’ve sussed it now… almost!!! 🙂
