Nuts & Seeds

Nuts and seeds make a protein packed main meal and with the variety available there should be something that everyone likes! Try cashews, almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts, pecans, macadamias, pine nuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, linseeds, sesame seeds or peanuts. You can use them as they are straight in your recipe, or you can lightly toast them first (dry fry in a pan until they just start to go golden, then tip onto a cold plate) to enhance their flavour.
