You are amazing! I know! Believe in yourself!

Sometimes we put ourselves down. We think we are not good enough. We think we don’t achieve enough. We think everyone else is doing better than us.

Where did this come from? Who told you that? Are you making it all up in your head?!

Everyone has their own strengths and they are never comparable to anyone else – not even if you are a twin! YOU are good at something! Probably very good actually, but if you don’t share, then nobody will know!

We all have our weaknesses too, but if we know what they are, then we can work on them and improve them! Everyone has weaknesses, but some people are better at hiding them than others!

Just because your neighbour has a shiny brand new car (and never seems to be at work), doesn’t mean you have to get into debt to get a better one!

Just because your relative hosts massive family get togethers where everyone has a fantastic time, doesn’t mean you have to stress yourself out and host a bigger and better one!

Just because your work colleague spends every weekend away in a different city, doesn’t mean you have to plan the trip of the lifetime to be one-up on them!

Just because the Mums at school boast about their little darlings sporting or academic achievements, doesn’t mean you need to hire a private coach or tutor.

Just be happy. Just be you. Do what makes you happy.

YOU are great just as you are. Keep doing what you are doing. It has worked up until now!

Make a plan which suits you. Make a plan which fits your lifestyle. Keep being great! Keep being you! 🙂

Hi Laurena, luckily I’ve never really been a ‘Keeping up with the Joneses’ person (we have a Kia Picanto and prior to that a Fiat Panda haha – most Germans we’ve come across don’t get it, they call it a toy car lol).
I’ve always felt that what makes me happy isn’t what the majority of people would call their idea of fun… Maybe it’s time to not to care so much what others think?

Lol Eva.. I almost wrote ‘Joneses’ and thought maybe my readers outside the UK wouldn’t get it! Yes, us too (or maybe just me lol)! about the car (love my little hatchback) and my idea of fun is definitely not what others would call fun but I’ve learnt that it’s okay to be different and like what I like! I was never a pubs and clubs person, more an animal and countryside person. Now it’s things like the allotment which brings me joy – not shopping for shoes lol!

Yay, finally someone on my wavelength?
Let’s just say I was considered a bit of a weirdo for not being into pubs and clubs, even more so in the Costa del Sol?
My Mum and sister despair about me not being into clothes and shoe shopping hehe (although I do have my eye on a pair of comfy Dr Martens)

I have a pair of boots (snow boots actually) which are so comfy I wear them with everything… not sure what I will do when the weather warms up! Oh, you do know they make vegan DM’s now… I’ve seen a shiny purple pair, a maroon pair and a dark grey pair. I’m not sure I could get them on and off though! (My 3 month travels through Europe were done in DM’s but that was a LONG time ago)!!!

I agree, never underestimate the importance of a good pair of boots lol. Yes, I knew about the DM vegan line but I’m now curious about the purple pair you mentioned, it’s my face colour☺
